The gallery had 105 exhibits. It was founded in 1994 in the house of the building built in the 1850s, where the great Shushi painter Stepan Aghajanyan was born.
The permanent collection of the gallery included paintings, sculptures, drawings, decorative-applied works of Armenian artists.
